Lala Diwan Chand Modern Wrestling & Yoga Center

Trust has extended financial support to the Lala Diwan Chand Modern Wrestling and Yoga Centre, providing skill-based training to youth, especially those from marginalized & economically disadvantaged sectors. Around 6000 persons from rural areas in Haryana have benefited from this initiative, securing employment in various government organizations, including BSF, CRPF, and the Police. Students have not only secured national and international awards but have also brought honor to the country through their achievements.

Lala Diwan Chand Modern Wrestling Centre, Chhara, Jhajjar, is actively training wrestlers of International Standards. Every year approximately 130 wrestlers are trained under the guidance of World Champion Gold Medalist Wrestler, Virendra Singh. Atleast 10 wrestlers get selected for International Games. Deepak Punia and Bajrang Punia from this center were awarded Gold Medal at the Commonwealth Games 2022.

Lala Diwan Chand Charitable Hospital, Faridabad

Inspired by the generous and magnanimous ideals of “Lala Ji”, Lala Diwan Chand Trust set up a 30 Beded general Hospital  named as  “Lala Diwan Chand Memorial Hospital” at Faridabad. The Hospital is equipped with required infrastructure and has latest medical equipments. The Hospital provided  outdoor (OPD) and  indoor (IPD) treatment in various specialties including Cardiology;  Dental; Gynecology; E.N.T.;  General & Ortho Surgery; Medicine are available at  highly discounted rates. All major diagnostic services including hematology, cytology, microbiology, biochemistry and histopathology etc. are provided at affordable rates in the Hospital. Chemist shop provides medicines at discounted rates round the clock. Focused efforts were continued to be made during 2024-25 to strengthen and further improve the functioning of the Hospital. The Hospital Advisory Board, as a continued process, deliberated in depth all related issues based on which several measures were taken for overall improvement in the functioning of the Hospital. 

During the year Hospital provided highly subsidized affordable healthcare facilities to 8060 cases of OPD plus 347 cases of Dental Care,  18 Free Medical checkup  Camps were organized by the Hospital during the year where 1690 Patients benefitted . The Hospital is continuing its efforts to serve larger number of cases to utilize its full capacity and the potential. Trust provided financial support of over  Rs. 50/- Lacs in 2024-25 to carry out its activities.
